The 2018 KGOC International will be held on 22nd – 24th June 2018. This year we will be based in central Bournemouth, one of England’s finest coastal resorts.
The Best Western Hotel Royale is ideally located in a tree lined road, close to Bournemouth Town Centre and just a 2 minute walk from the East Cliff promenade from where wonderful views of the Isle of Wight and Purbeck Hills can be enjoyed. The town centre and its magnificent gardens and pier are within a 10 minutes walk from the hotel.
The International weekend will of course include a unique and scenic drive through the New Forest where New Forest Ponies and cattle roam free, visiting local places of interest, and of course time to enjoy the local amenities that Bournemouth has to offer. A full programme and a great time in Bournemouth and The New Forest is assured.
For those wishing to take advantage of this wonderful location and spend a few worthwhile extra days exploring Bournemouth, nearby Poole and Christchurch, or even spreading out a little further along the Jurassic Coast, I have agreed fantastic rates at the Hotel Royale for additional nights, either before or after our International event.
This year we are charging in a slightly different format. The weekend hotel cost includes a meal Friday evening (often an additional charge) and the Saturday evening gala dinner. The club charge for the event will therefore be lower at £35 per person (£20 for children under 15) to cover the weekend activities, coffee stops and Saturday lunch, rally plaques and other incidentals. We feel that this makes the overall weekend cost very comparable with previous events. Single room (22nd – 24th June) £72.00 per night.
Double room for single occupancy £20 supplement per night.
