Ghias, Beers & BBQ’d Steers 2025

July 26 @ 11:00 am - July 27 @ 3:00 pm

Summer Meetup & BBQ with Camp Out (optional).

26th July and 27th July 2025

Stow on the Wold Rugby Club & camp site

Gloucestershire

The Karmann Ghia Owners Club are planning a laid-back family friendly meeting open to all club members and friends.  Please join us from lunch time on Saturday for a chilled day chatting and looking at cars, with a BBQ, and in the evening a drink with friends. The site has 50 tent pitches and 6 hard standings for camper vans, so you can relax and make the most of the warm summer evening. If you don’t want to stay overnight, no problem, feel free to leave when you’re ready.

Our intention is for this to be a low-cost weekend. Camping will need to be paid for directly to the Rugby Club nearer the time. One booking covers you and your family and friends. £23.00 per night for a grass pitch & £28.00 for hard standing with electric hookup. (Per pitch, not per person.) The club will be providing a free BBQ for members and their families and drinks are available from the rugby clubhouse on the day. If you want to invite a non-member, they can be accommodated but please let me know on the email if they want to show a car. More on this later.

On site, simple facilities include showers, toilets and a Wi-Fi connection (around the clubhouse). The clubhouse with its bar will be open for us to use if we wish.

To book your space please email me at karmann.ghia@btinternet.com  Nearer the day we would like a full commitment but for now just send me a mail with the number of people and which car(s) you will come in.

Thanks,

Steve Metcalfe.
